Hi, I'm new to this forum as well to the coin collection, I'm from Mexico and last week I bought a 1917 George V full sovereign minted in Perth (P) but it has 2 privy marks I can't recognize in the face of George V, I thought that maybe someone in the forum could help me recognizing the marks.

Thank you.

Possibly a copy made to be used in a piece of jewelery? I believe jewelers in India would counterstamp the copies..Not really sure but someone else will chime in..

It looks like the one under the chin is a purity mark (note that this inference is from jewelry purity marks) and unfortunantly I'm not sure what the mark under the neck is.
