I just missed the transition to colour TV, but I am old enough to remember when only the family room TV was colour. The one in the basement (rumpus room) was B&W until I was a teen. We got a fancy console for the family room and the old one went down in the hole.

69, until next month. God I'm old. Which is better than the alternative. I remember asking my dad about the presidential returns he was watching, Eisenhower vs. Stevenson in '56. B & W of course.
