I'm in 10-15 now, but I'll be in the next group before the month is over. Based on the poll results, there are a lot more YNs here than I thought.

I'll be 17 in October.
I started collecting in the most general sense when I was about 5 years old.
I just recently really started paying attention to what I have and began researching.
I still remember my first piece: a 1976 Bacchus Mardis Grad dabloon given to me by my mom, who had it given to her by her dad.

Hey fellow young collectors, what do you guys collect? Anyone collecting semi numismatic bullion silver coins?

Just voted and just turned 40 here. I still have all my hair though and no greys yet.

Its quite encouraging that there are young people. Having said that maybe a higher % of young people are on the net and the oldies are more prevelent than numbers suggest.

I know a bunch of older (very knowledgeable) guys that don't like or are afraid of the technology by going on-line for this type of stuff. I'm older and still trying to manipulate and learn my way through this website.

Just turned the big 60 in July. Never thought I was going to get past 25 thankfully I proved myself wrong.

It has been around three years since I voted on this thread, and I have moved to the next category over a while ago. Seeing as how this thread is five years old, and how the majority of the categories are over a four year span, I think it would be safe to assume that most people who voted when this first started have switched categories—and probably many other non-recent voters, like myself. Maybe it is time for a newer, updated version of this thread?

Quote: Maybe it is time for a newer, updated version of this thread? This is opinion, not Moderation: I think part of the appeal of this thread is the elapsed time factor, the continuity over years of replies. Here, you connect to both where the Forum was, and where it's going. Look back at the first couple pages of this thread, 5 years ago. Most of the members who posted there are still here. I wish the original thread, from a decade and more ago, had persisted.

I voted but never posted. When I joined, I was 31 and have had a birthday in there so, 32. I'll move to the next category in about 3.5 years. Hopefully, I'll still be around and, at this rate, should be approaching 15,000 posts! More importantly, my collection will be a lot better.
