Tough to grade with the pictures provided. That aside, this coin doesn't look right to me and the surfaces are setting off some very loud alarm bells. In particular, there is an odd looking lump just under Liberty's ear, a couple in front of her ear and several on her neck that have me worried. The same thing applies to the reverse and especially in the area around the eagle's head. Is it possible to post some larger pictures of the entire coin? This could confirm or dispel any doubts as to its authenticity.

Looks a little bit off to me as well. Perhaps it is just the photos or it could be weakly struck.

Its definitely been cleaned at some point. The surface is extremely white and there is a build up of black debris arounds the legends - these are tell tale signs of a cleaning. Also, the lumps under liberties ear are suspicious, as they are known to appear on counterfeits. However, this could be just the photo. Weigh and measure the coin to see if it matches mint specifications and maybe take it to a dealer for authentication.

Have a look at the inside right serifs of all three A's on the reverse. They appear to be missing, a feature noted on a few 1822's. Yours, I think, is O-115. This is not a guarantee against it being a counterfeit, but a pretty good argument all the same. The counterfeiter would have had to duplicate very unique die features to create the coin.

I agree this coin does not look right in particular the lumps of metal found on the obverse and reverse.

It looks very clean, almost like it was bleached.
