I would buy this coin simply to resell based ont he facts its damaged and the collectors won't want it. I'll hope for under $30. I know they are just metal round objects, but for some odd feeling when I see a coin that nobody wants, it is like a litter of puppies, and the runt of the litter that nobody picks up. Awwww poor little crippled 1914 D, look at those sad eyes. At least it got our attention, somebody should give it a home and a little love. Report this Post to the Staff

jdbooth Valued Member United States 236 Posts	Posted 06/11/2012 4:50 pm I might buy it to fill a hole in my nieces collection. She would be like, "ewww that's an ugly coin uncle John. Cant you put a new one in there?" Then I would have to try and explain supply and demand and the cost is more than I have for a new one. In the end it would be "just because".
