One of the coins from my late father-in-law's collection is this 1921 Morgan encased in plastic as a paperweight from Liberty Insurance of Texas. I don't think the company exists now - or else they have changed names. The coin is embedded in plastic about an inch thick, along with an "egg-timer" hourglass and the insurance company logo.

I think the coin grades in the upper EF to lower AU range. The eagle's breast is worn and there is a little wear in Liberty's hair as well. Although the technique of diffusing the flash through an empty milk jug worked really well, the flash does wash out a little of the detail, so the coin looks a little better in person than these images would indicate.
I don't really have any questions --- just thought the thing worth sharing for your comments.
