It is actually Mexican...Minted in Mexico City. 1 Reale maybe? What does it weigh?

Carlos IV of Spain. Mexico City mint. Probably 1 Real. Diameter should be 20mm and Weight 3.38gr. This link will give you more detailed information:-

I believe what you have is a 1/2 real.

Yes, of course, a 1/2 real would be much closer to "the size of a dime. Weighs 1.4 grams" at 15mm diameter and a weight of 1.69g

It is a half real, a real wold have a "1" to the right of the shield and pillars on the reverse.
