Clearly you all see that for a newbie on CCF I like to post pics of my coins for grading This one arrived yesterday. I am going to give you the ebay posting pic from Coastal Coin Company's auction as well as pics I took from a couple of different angles. CCC touted this as "AU" but I'm not sure so fire away PLEASE

Cost - $39.67

Here are my cam shots when it arrived yesterday - amazing level of detail I think

The stars are just totally defined with NO wear whatsoever but does that make it an AU?

With a tiny wear on the horizontal lines, I'd grade it EF-45
At least according to: http://www.shieldnickels.net/anaGra...andards.html

Very nice buy! Less glare on the pics would help but I think it warrants an AU55.

Not sure if it is quite AU, but for $40, it was a good buy, even at an XF.

From the pictures provided, I think this coin is an AU-55.

No, it justs means the reverse die had little wear, with no grease obstructing the minting, and the coin was well-struck.

She's a beauty!!
