I don't get it. You'd think that if you wanted to counterfeit a coin, you'd look at a real one first. If this was a real issue, I'd call it the "Tranny Head"
They have a low activity level and most of the coins that sold are "made for TV" junk sets. Looks like just a regular person selling off Uncle Fred's stash. Bet they didn't know enough to tell it's not real.
I think it may be intended to look like a pattern, with a different style. I may catch out a novice, who thinks he may have spotted a pattern on the cheap.
