I looked on the Dansco site to maybe buy a 7070 and saw that they are "updating" it. Does this mean that they are adding ATB Quarters and Shield cents? Also, does anyone know when it will be out? They are having a massive sale and I want to get in on this. Any input would be apprieiated. Thanks!

Anticipating the release of a 'new' version, I bought a classic album. I imagine the new one will have Presidential dollars, newer Jefferson nickels, new Lincoln cents (both the 2009s and shield), National Parks quarters, and I don't know what else.

My 7070 is actually the version before the more recent one. I had to update page five (Bicentennial/Commemorative), which added the Sacagawea dollar, Statehood Quarter, Commemorative Dollar, and Silver Eagle holes.

I have no desire to upgrade mine for the newest stuff, keeping it a 19th-20th Century Type Set.

I feel the exact same way. If it weren't for the NC quarter I would have no coins in the 7070 album I built over the date of 2000. There has to be a cut off somewhere

My Dansco 7070 type set Album is a old one.
I did as others have and bought the latest upgrad
page. Being from Illinois I had to have a slot
for A Silver proof Illinos quarter.
I have a friend that used Intercept Shield for his type set
also a very nice Album.

I agree, the intercept albums are real nice and just about mirror the Dansco7070 coins (+ - a few) that are included. I love the way they have the slots cut out for the slides on the Intercept albums as well, the only thing I don't like is the ugly color. I have been thinking about trying to find one cheap somewhere just to fill here or there when I find something to put in there. But I don't believe I would ever pay new prices just because I can't get over the color of the album. Of course all of the above is just opinions going by mostly pictures I have seen online since I have never actually owned an intercept album myself to make a personal comment
