All three are nice, but, with the exception of the patina, the first two could have just been struck. Very nice.

I was once told that the increased use of chemical fertilizers was causing an increase in corrosion in coin finds from cultivated fields. A few years back when fertilizers were more likely to be 'natural' (manure) coins were less likely to be eaten away by the soil. As modern technology has spread to farms everywhere, I wonder if we will be doing more damage to what lies buried than was done in the preceding 2000 years?

Were these found in a 'different' place that might not have been chemically treated (a swamp or untillable area)? They certainly are nice! Recently your denarius postings suggest the coins found a safe place to spend the centuries. I hope you will be finding many more as nice as the recent ones.
