I've seen some japanese gold bullion but have never seen silver ones. May be it is lack of popularity of this metal. There are commemorative silver coins - prefectures - they bear high numismatic premium and lots of japanese collect them. Report this Post to the Staff

Something like on the previous page, 7 coins some in cases. Bought it for $300. Selling just two of those (chinese horse and macau horse) can cover all expenses, the rest is profit. here are last 2 oz of coins. payed $12 over spot Report this Post to the Staff

Maybe they are in a catch-22 situation? There are no coins minted because no one wants to collect them and since no one collects them, there is no interest in minting the coins. The fact that they do collect some silver rounds seems to show some interest. Do very many Japanese collect silver coins from other countries? Report this Post to the Staff
