What is the best metal detector I can buy in the $250 to $350 price range. I'm looking for the most bang for my buck deal! I want it mostly for coin shooting, and one that will go deep. I like the one I have now but it just doesn't go deep enough. And perhaps you can give me some suggestions about where to buy, there seems to be big price differences sometimes from one place to another.

Wow! I can't believe this has not been addressed in four days. Check out the Garrett Ace 250. It's an all-around horse that gets good results. The depth issue may be tuning or interferance. The manual will assist you in tuning to get max depth.

Google Garrett Ace 250 and in the first listing you'll see a package deal for $212.

Good luck and happy swinging!

P.S. - The 350 is available from the same company for $297.
