Feedback can be changed by buyers now, you should ask her to.

She said she would Bobby as soon as I refunded her, which I told her would tom or Tues as soon as some funds in transit hits my bank account from pay-pal....

Plus I got 150 cash on me and bar-tending tonight on father's day so I can put it in my bank account tom and fix this mess asap....

I told her I was real embarrassed and wish I could get in a time machine and go back an fix it and send the right one as she wanted that bar for her father for father's day, I totally understand her disappointment and would have been just as upset....

I would never leave a neg until the last means as I just did my first on the other guy, and seeing as how he got back to back, no doubt a crook and had it coming, so I KNOW I made right choice thanks all for insight....

Hawk,
It happens ALL the time, sellers switch the labels accidentally during the packaging process, any number of distractions can happen, the telephone/doorbell rings, your kid/dog wants attention, the house catches on fire, etc. Your shortchanged buyer jumped the gun, but you DID the right thing by resolving the situation ASAP. As for the buyer with the 10 oz bar, you might have to eat that as a lesson learned loss; expect that he might just take off with your bar and never communicate with you again. If that's the outcome, your only recourse is to neg him for non-response (provided you haven't left buyer fb yet) and simply blacklist him from buying from you again. Dude, I feel your pain, that is a tough mistake to make. Hope this side of the equation works out for you.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong about all this, but I thought ebay held off paying the seller for a specific period of time or until the buyer leaves feedback.

They do do that for a lot of sellers. If you sell on there a lot and get positive feedback a lot proving you are trustworthy I guess they give you the money right away.

Although I do think now if you provide tracking info youre money gets freed when that says it arrived.

I cant stress using tracking info enough if you ever sell anything. I sold something one time and it ended up back in my mail box. The person tried to claim I never shipped it but the tracking info showed they left 3 notices for them to pick it up at the post office. This buyer didnt feel it was their responsibility to go to the post office to pick up their own mail and never got it so it was returned. They wanted a full refund, I gave them the refund for the item but not the shipping and because of the tracking info ebay agreed with my decision.
