Hi, I think the 2010 are the current ones that are in circulation at the moment.
I don't think I have seen the 2011 $1 MOR yet? Has anyone else... I think they went with the 2011 CHOGM
And for 2012 is anyone's guess when they release them, they have made circulating dies for the $1 MOR in the mint sets, so I see no reason why the mint wouldn't put them to use at some point.

Shaden, welcome! & to my side of town. (I'm floating around the Doncaster-ish/Mitcham-ish region)
They tend to do things quite late, because of financial years ending middle of the year. Which sometimes gives people a false indication of mintage figures.
I collect polymer (current circulating) notes & they are only looking at releasing these notes to dealers & public probably during &/or after August of this year. These notes also go through the same releasing authority, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA).

Gee, seems there's a few of us in the outer East of Melbourne.... 2010 roo dollars are easily found, 2011 5c coins are less easy but out there, 50c COA's are also quite findable. 20c Volunteers 2011 is harder than the Wedding. Haven't seen 2011 roo dollars or platy's.

There are quite a few in Adelaide. I have pulled two with nice big rabbit ears. There are also a lot where the Cud can just be seen in its earliest stages. Purple penny has one with a ripper Cud on the tail which she posted in another thread.

I actually did a newspaper ad in the Knox leader when I was closing up shop in one of my businesses at Studfield shops. There ya go, very small world. I'm actually in Ringwood region & my other shop is in Lower Templestowe. All aboard for the Eastside train! As for my shiny hot off the press coins; I was seeing a lot of 2011 stuff maybe 6 months ago. Then it looks like the pictures (Wedding & Volunteers are being hoarded) as to be expected. I am still getting quite a few 2010 MOR $1's coming through, but they are all starting to get a bit scratched now. As much as I'm still trying to ween myself onto the decimal coins, I'm still only noticing minor errors which are making me enjoy looking.

Studfield CBA is my dropping off point for noodled coinage, though the coin machine there has a peculiar habit of spitting out 50 cent pieces, even though there's nothing wrong with them.... Always pays to keep a close eye on the rejected coins slot. BTW, I've picked up a few odd coins from previous people not checking/caring about the rejected coins!!

Quote: change machines ? put in note , spits out coins ? never heard of this in caboolture ,..are they only in vic ? Dunno, to be honest. I'm with the Commonwealth, and most- but not all - branches around me have a coin machine in the branch. You put all the coins in at the top and it counts them all, and gives you a printout to take up to the teller to either deposit into your a/c, or get more coins....the machine sorts all the coins for you; no need to sort them into denom.'s - the machine does all that. They charge a 10% fee for non account holders or if you go over $1000 at a time. Saves the tellers a lot of time, I reckon. No more weighing or counting.

I also saw a new Note counting machine at Ringwood Westpac today which counts notes in the same way. The teller would put different notes in it, it would count, she would then have to do it back the other way & it would then confirm. I want one! Along with the coin machine. Maybe we could program the coin machine to do noodling (pick up coin image) & spit the goods out? Enworb, weren't you making a noodling machine?
