Hi!
I have the "2008 The First Fleet 1788 1oz Silver Proof Coin and Medallion Set". I just want to know what's the current value of it.

Looks like a cool coin. Its one I've not seen before. When I get home later tonight/this morning I will look in my 2012 catalogue for the value.

Maccas lists them currently at $1250. As to what one would be worth, that is entirely dependent on the market and the price a buyer would be prepared to pay (less any possible sale fees), but it would most likely be somewhere in between the issue price of $525 and current catalogue.

I'm unsure which dealers are likely to stock it in the US, but ebay would probably be a good source. "Maccas" is the colloquial term for the "2012 Pocket Guide to Australian Coins and Banknotes, Nineteenth edition by Greg McDonald". Hope that helps :)
