Rev. makes it only a VG coin.
What's the date ? I cannot make it out.
If a decent date then a good hole filler.
If not, then the "PILE" :)

I'm guessing the date is 1917 as the 1916 is very rare.

It's the 1917; double curl on the back of the head, the rivets are too well defined, the top of the head does not break the beads around the inside of the rim, etc...

yep, this is one you don't have to see the date to know if its a 1916 or 1916 because there is differences in the design on the Obverse that will allow you to make the distinction on what date it is
