Tough to say, but I'd put it somewhere in the range of AU

I think AU may be a tad high on this one.
On this coin there is quite a jump in value between VF and AU
so a fairly accurate grade is important. VF would be about $2.00 and AU $20 to $30. I am not familiar with this coins die attributes etc. so I will wait and see on what others think.

1925-S is notorious for being struck with worn out dies and this coin is a classic example of that.

It's tough to tell from the pics, but I would be willing to bet it's in the AU range at least. I can't really tell from the pics but it looks like there may be just a bit of wear on Lincoln's cheek and jaw.

I really wouldn't even be surprised to see this coin in a low MS holder if that is not wear I'm seeing.

Strange damage on the field proximal to Lincoln's face and corresponding area on the reverse.
Is this coin bent?

I believe what you're seeing is a die clash issue; common on LWCs of this period from what I understand.

WOW....looks like there's a little red on this coin. This issue is VERY tough to find with ANY red. It's definately an AU coin, too bad about the reverse rim damage though.

I'd go AU-50 on this one. Very weakly struck but lots of subdued red in the fields. Not sure what is going on with the left wheat ear, possible planchet lamination?

The damage to the reverse looks raised therefore I would guess a die crack/break if it is raised.
