I HAVE FOUND A Lincoln Cent 1992 D ( REPUNCHED MINT MARK )
I SEE IT UNDER A 5X MAGNIFYING POWER , IT IS VERY VERY CLEAR D ON D , BUT WHEN I SCANED IT BY A NORMAL SCANNER IT IS NOT CLEAR .

I believe anything after 1988 the mintmark is machine made not hand punched so you can't have a repunched mint mark. Most likely Machine Doubling

1989 was the last year that the mint mark was punched into the working dies. In 1990 the mint mark became part of the master die, thus eliminating RPMs.

A camera is usually better, but it can be hard to take up-close photos. If your camera doesn't have a macro mode you can hold a loupe or magnifying glass up to the lens.

Abdelbari, while we appreciate your enthusiasm, please do not post in all capital letters. It is the equivalent of "yelling" on the internet and can be very annoying to some people. This is actually stated in the rules that you agreed to. Please review the rules again here.

Could it be a DDO? Yes, here is a link to a 1995-D DDO http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...ie_state=eds But we would need some good photos of the coin in question and the photos should be close up shots.

S IT OF VALUE IF IT IS DOUBLE DIE ?

It would depend on the extent of the doubling and if it were true doubling or MD.

With John1.
Rest in Peace

. You have found a great site for learning. A close up photo is a must for identification purposes.
