I have heard you can sell anything on ebay and now I have seen the proof of it. Some people will buy anything.

Eventually we will find out how common or uncommon it is. Hopefully the prices will go down.

Some folks have more money than brains? Getting a new coin actually listed and accepted in the numismatic world, with an error, is a long process. Paying anything over a few bucks for an extremely LONG SHOT is much more than just a gamble at this time. Now take the fellow who recently bought an 1820 copy of the Declaration of Independance for a whopping $2.48 and has found its worth somewhere between $125,000 to $300,000, well he make an excellent decision. If he had paid $100,000 for it and found it was worth $2.48 he would have been like these NEW error collectors who are trying to reach the moon by boat!!!

Considering how many are appearing this quickly, I suspect they'll end up having very little premium in the long run. It's a surprise that, given the Mint's control over released errors in the last few years, we're seeing so many.

Dave, we are not seeing many MAJOR errors at all. What we are seeing are minor errors with HUGE premiums BECAUSE there are almost NO MAJOR ERRORS after 2002.

There are way too many of these no edge lettering for the price to hold. It is indeed a very cool error, but I think this will be a very common error on these coins.

I saw a double stamped one the other day (I guess It went thru twice) and that should get a very good premium.

I found a very cool strike thru (wire?) on George last night and I think It's going on ebay tonight to take advantage of the hype.
