A couple of my banks are drying up. I need to add at least one new checking account to my list. Arvest is convenient for me. I'm just curious how they are going to treat a CRHer. I hate to set up an account only to find that they are going to shut me down in a few weeks. Please let me know your experience.

Thanks,

OO

What I see a lot of people on here do when they are opening an account at a bank just for CRHing is that they let the manager know that they will open the account with the condition that boxes be ordered on a weekly/biweekly/monthly basis. You might want to try that.

NYBrian, Thanks for the advice. However, I've been there and done that. I have no doubt I can find a manager that will say 'sure...we'll take care of you'. But that doesn't mean that they will or that they will be there in 6 months. I'm trying to determine the culture of this bank. Banks seem to range from 'do anything to make the customer happy' to something significantly less. I'm trying to determine the culture of a few of the banks around me so that I can create an account that will still be of use to me 1, 2, 3 years down the road.

Thanks,

OO
