Not sure if that's considered a genuine placement of the S mintmark on the 09-S. SDcoinguy Pillar of the Community United States 2424 Posts	Posted 06/24/2012 11:30 pm mind telling us what you paid for them? that way if they ARE fakes, you didnt shoot yourself in the foot too bad. on looking at the 14-d again, something looks of about the placement of the 14.. looks crooked almost! 31-s as well, something just doesn't look "centered" about them... im not expert at lincolns. i'll wait until the big dogs chime in. The 09 need a close up of the "s" to check for a die chip inside one of the loops. When I bought my raw 09's I made sure that diagnostic feature was there. The bust looks to have AG wear to it, but the date, LIBERTY and motto are clear and free of the rim. They should be worn and at least slightly merged with the rim even with a weak strike.
