There was an 1883 no cents Liberty nickel in a coin lot that I recently purchased. It is graded AU 50 by ANACS. After closer inspection it appears to be the FV-RPD-010 but is not listed as such. Is it worth resubmitting it to have this attribution added?

Depends. Whatcha going to do with it? And how good are your photography skills?

I assume if you bought a lot, you're looking to resell. If you sell at a store, it might be worthwhile. If you're selling primarily at shows, the buyer will probably know what they're looking for. A sticker or a sticky note on the holder should suffice. If you're selling on ebay excellent photography and a full description will get you what you need.

Thems my Two Cents. Good luck!

As already noted so much depends on if your planning on selling. You did not say how much you paid for that coin so if adding another cost for reslabbing and regrading may not be worth the additional final value. And one thing to remember. Some people have sent in coins for just that purpose and they came back with a lesser grade. And if it comes back the same, just a waste of money.

ANACS would be the least expensive to have graded and attributed. (redundancy remover)

Let's see what it looks like!

Thanks for the advice! I just didn't know how much value the RPD would add, it does not sound like enough to make it worth it.

I picked it mighty cheap!

I can get some pictures but it is going to be a week as I am on my way out the door for Maui! Just waiting for my limo to get here!
