Hi torres...I don't want to seem bad to you....but I have some doubts about authenticity.usually these coins have not, riliefs so pronounced,they even seems to me with an homogeneous recent fake patina.
maybe I'm wrong but these are my impressions.....especially number 2 and number 3 that have contours too smooth and rounded ...

arrrgggh => man, I certainly remember the day that you challenged me, DVC ... => by the way => it was "not" a good feeling ... at all!! ... and as you know, it was so much "not a good feeling", that I spent close to $300 to get those 4 coins authenticated ASAP by our hero, David Sear ... Hmmmph? ... kinda funny though, because those 4 coins that I/we made run-through-the-gauntlet are now certainly four of my favourite coins! => t0rress => I think that your coins look absolutely wonderful and I hope that they prove to stand-up against this very knowledgable and this very opinionated crowd!! ... hey, that's what makes us/them great!! NOTE => they/we want to know the truth and we always want the coins to be "authentic"!!  Edited by stevex6

Luckily => we all know that dougsmit is an expert with these coins, so it is only a matter of moments before he swoops-in like "Coin-Man" and astounds us with his Legionary knowledge!!  ... uh-oh ... I hope he's not on a fishing vacation!!Edited by stevex6

I have no idea if they are fake or not, but if I had to choose, I'd say they look real to me. Which is why I think I am very  about having such great coins. I'm still looking for a nice copy (no pun intended) of this Marcus Antony galley coin. |

I know nothing about Antony. The Legionaries I collect are Septimius Severus. To me these all look like very nice coins that I would be happy to own with the IIX something I would love to find.
