Hi Guys. Newbie here. Hope to learn a lot and maybe contribute something now and then.
I am looking for some suggestions for a good coin manager program to catalog and archive my large coin collection. 95% of my coins are NGC-PCGS so I would like one that will occasionally assign some sort of a reasonable current market value of each coin. Been using Coin Manager 11 from Liberty Street Software but am not impressed with the lack of customer support. Also, their program only allows 4 pictures of each coin, and sometime I want to add more pics to each coin.
Would like to know what you guys use and why.
Thanks and glad to be aboard.

If offline, you could always hire a university student studying programming to make a mod to allow more pictures. I have got no idea about online.. Also, to CCF!

If you stick around here for a while you'll find that that has come up frequently. And as long as you are using a computer, you may find a program called Excel. That is what probably the majority of people use since it is free, easy to use, can download your info and take almost anywhere on Earth since that is used almost everywhere. Might be a problem in China though. They just refuse to change ot English.

I would of suggest if you were using a Mac to try Bento and modify the templates to your liking...
Maybe use ecrater to catalog your inventory?

Hi Tony, I'd suggest using ExactChange. Yes you do have to pay for it but it is about the best that I found. As a bonus for you, as your coins sound like that are US coins you will get current prices updated on a regular basis. Coins from other countries, like mine, you'll need to do yourself. The real nice thing about this software is that most coins are already in the DB, you just have to add yours by selecting from list. Maybe better explain that. The DB has data about a coin in general. Mint/year/metal/mintage etc. You enter an instance of the coin that you have with data relating to your coin. Data purchased/storage location/have/want/sell/sold etc. Then you can generate reports on your collection for lots of things like coins wanted, value, checklists etc Hope this helps Peter

It has all of the same type of documents; spreadsheets, documents, and presentations. All for free, and can be accessed any where. https://drive.google.com/start?continue=https://drive.google.com/%23#home

Thanks Guys. I am not really into Spread sheets. LOL I have been using Coin Manage and like it but I can't get tech support to respond to my questions.
Was looking for something similar to that program where you can actually get some tech support. I don't mind paying for a good program at all.
