Just currious what other people are into. Or what they collect, besides the bullion, numies, paper.
I'll start:
I recently got rid of a large collection of pocket knives. They average 50 years old. I soon realized, I actually use 2 of them, and a fixed blade file knife for camping.
Been interested in building a radio. This would be a HAM receiver, a very basic exposed components type build. Still interested, though.
Recently stopped collecting parts for a BEAMbot build. )look it up)
Lastly, I collect 90's music. Mostly rock, metal. More recently, its been female fronted rock bands. Awsome.

I collect bills. I wish I could stop, then I would have more money for coins.

Guns, knives (been dormant for a while), books and St. Louis Cardinals SGA.
I've been thinking of selling off many knives also. Find that I carry one, have two for hunting and a couple family heirlooms. Most everything else could go and I really don't think I would miss them.

Guns, the expensive ammo that goes in the guns, the expensive peripherals like scopes, laser and tritium sights, the expensive Surefire flashlights that help me see what I'm shooting, the ultra-expensive night vision scopes and goggles that make things shades of green or white instead of black, all the extra parts and doodads that require expensive gunsmiths, training to use it all...

Other than silver bullion, I do not collect much of anything. I have some tools and some guns and that is about it.
Just traded a .44 mag that I never shoot for a nifty little Ruger LC9. I've been wanting a small pocket gun that still has some power to it and this seemed to fit the bill much better than a .32 or a .380. I like that it is a common caliber, so finding ammo for it is easy.

I've collected lots of stuff over the years but I typically cashed out quickly as my interests changed.
Of my lasting interests, I collect circulated and proof US, European, and Canadian coins, vinyl across various musical genres, and, oddly enough, vintage board and military war games.

Since the PM market is dragging so behind these days, I had to switch up store stock to one of my other favorites, and strong seller in late fall and winter, via Lionel train sets.... Hard to wrong with 100 plus years of trusted history, and un-like pmz, they are always steadily planning up in value.... I don't go after old and vintage, as I buy mostly brand new un-open older shelf stock, but still yet modern, such as early 2000s for example.... I set limits and only pay up to 125 on running auctions on trains I have sold in the past for anywhere from 225 to 250 or so, and even a bit more close to X-mas.... Ever once in a while I will go 175 on a nice set, but I will only do that if I know I can get at-least 300 later, even if it takes half a year.... I have it structured to where I only need to come up with 200 a month and ebay fees to keep it all running.... The fun part for me anyway is taking the open sets (only buy the ones ran like once, and put up and forgotten if not brand new) I test run and make you tube videos while they are here if they have been opened and only ran once or twice to help sell later.... I imagine the son is gonna enjoy coming into this type of world, lol, as I have sold many different vintage toys and odd collectibles on ebay.... I have yet to invest in a Lionel that did not look good and run well....

Air Jordan's are big money collector market I understand. I here that many of the old ones bring 3 to 4 hundred.... I don't know anything about them really, but I feel that would be solid thing to sell on ebay as well, if again one could find them in good vintage shape for the right price.... Vinyl records (right condition and band/name like anything) I mentioned lately in other thread, and apparently they are coming back. A vintage record store even recently opened up in town and no doubt it has been years since there were any stores here or anywhere selling vinyls specifically....

Comic books and stamps were my other hobbies, I think back in late 90's or early 2000 the comic buyer guide stated that comic books investment average better than stock investment, at least that's what the chart appears, but over marketing the same comic book with either a different cover or adding a collectible card to every X number of comic killed the collectors interest. The rare comics continue to climb and barely any modern day comic can be bought for less than 10% of its cover value.
Stamp and cover maybe even worst in the US as oppose to other countries that have large collector base, even some of the older US ones didn't appreciate in value over many years. I lost interest when stamp became un-soakable, I then started to collect covers but slowly got interest and invest into coins.
