What would be the cause of this quarter looking like it has been struck hard in the center, looks almost like a fish.

looks like it could be a "strike through" that's indented yes?

is it concave ,convex or does it look like a stain.i don't see any change in the surface inside the anomaly.

Looks to be post mint. Maybe some glue/residue or a stain possibly. It doesn't appear to be anything mint made.

i also have an Oklahoma State Quarter with similar markings, on the back side, it looks like it was stamped more than once, like 3 times, and it shows through to the front side, where do I post pics of it to get more info on it? it came from the bank in a quarter roll and was given to me by my mother

From that pic it looks simply like a stain to me. Only other thing that would look like that that I can think of would be some sort of lamination defect, but I really don't think thats the case here.
