Here are a few of the CCs my Dad bought, from the Crap tables he worked on, in Las Vegas, in the 1950s and early 60s. 1889 1890 1891 Edited by Las_Vegas_Larry 06/29/2012 7:53 pm

The others are nice, but I absolutely love that 1889. I wish it could talk. I bet it's seen a few card games as well. Incredible that he bought them for probably...$1.

Beautiful coins, I really like the 1890. I remember when you could go to,the bank and ask for these coins- no casinos in Mass back then (or even now!). Woulda been fun, I suspect.

Very nice for a buck apiece. Quote: Here are a few of the CCs How many did he get? I can imagine quite a few CC dollars made their way through the casinos back then without being noticed. Ed ANA LM-3175

My dad had, at one time, about 1000 silver dollars, with about 300 CCs.
The CCs were his favorites.
Over the years he sold some, gave some away, and when he passed, left me about 50 mostly CCs.
I'll keep my favorites and trade or sell the rest.

I have worked on craps tables and its all chips and any currency has to be dropped into a box so you'll never see it again. Maybe times have changed but now your best chance is being friendly with the tellers and on break they may bring you any interesting discoveries they have made.

Really nice, I would hold on to them regardless of condition or value. I bet there is tons of history in those coins.
