another nice win off our favorite auction site...

I need educational help on this one please...

okay, so is rim Cud good or bad? I know the rim nics are lousy and hurt the coin from being problem free but what is with the Cud? is it going to hurt it more?

I grade this high VF details on the obverse and maybe XF on the reverse? NOT counting the nics on the rim...I am just commenting on the mirror and relief...surfaces are clean and patina is very evident on the right light angle...$38 seems like greysheet to me on it...

Coin looks VF-30 or 35 details. Most of what I see on the rims is damage. The only thing that might be a Cud is just below the 8 in date. Price seems a little high with all the rim problems.

I'm afraid I agree. All looks PMD, and given what is PMD and what may not be, it all adds up to a lot of distraction. If you can get past the rims, it sure is a pretty coin! But it's hard to get past the rims.

Unfortunately, I think those are probably rim damage and not Cuds. I think it has VF-30 details. The coin looks nice and original.

The ding at 6:00 is the one that would bother me. Still an attractive coin however.
