What do you think, these are Srivijaya coins from 8th to 12th centuries.
Is this something interesting or not?
I would like to know how you guys think.

Most if not all of these are from late 18th- early 19th century Palembang.

You right.
Palembang is the present name of that place, those coins was found in Musi river at that area. It was the capital of Srivijaya in 8 to 12th century. I draw conclusion too fast or expected too much and since I couldn't read it.

these were recovered from a river ?
if so, they've survived well.

According to the seller, it was. He told me, once somebody found some, everybody jump in, the whole village joint in to the river looking for treasures. Anybody interested, email me I will forward the seller's email.
