hey guys, a friend gave me this coin as he did not know what its worth. The catalog prices for this coin are very dependent on the grade.

You are correct its value is very dependent on its grade which makes us very dependent on a picture.

Online Catalog list its value as $1 VF, $7 XF and $20 MS60.

That coin has some wear to her.I think it would grade closer to F. Its value. IMO 50 cents. Lets see what others think.

KM#577 from Portugal, my favourite coin type.
I have a 1944 graded as F in my collection and the
value I have on it, is $0.25, but that is a couple of
years old, so IMO I guess $0.50 is a fair estimate.
