Nice bold coin. I'd go with AU-55 also. But I'm leaning towards a "details" grade because the surfaces do not look original to me. Lots of little hair line scratches visible and color seems a bit off.

Just wanted to add after posting that I have a little concern about what I see with rim nicks. There are three below the date that look like they may have been repaired. Can you post a photo of the edge in that area? If the edge nicks are on the rim close to the edge, they should have pushed the metal up making them real noticeable.

I think AU-50 looks like a fair grade. The rim nicks don't appear to be all that bad especially given the size of them relative to the coin. The hairlines could be a cause for concern if there is more not seen in the pictures. Given what I see in the picture, I don't think it would get a details grade. Great coin, BTW!

for sure an AU coin. even if it is a details grade its still a great coin. congrats!
