Ok, I was looking through the Red Book and I have a question on why these quarters seems to be more valuable than the others?

1982P
1982D

1983P
1983D

1986P
1986D

Are there specific errors that apply to these?

The ones I have are certainly not MS-63, but they aren't too bad.

Any guidance is appreciated.

Because no mint sets were made so the uncirculated coins were few, so theyre worth more

Just keep in mind that the Red Book's prices are excessive and usually what the Publishers think a dealer would sell coins for. And even then, those would be the highest possible prices. If you were to try to sell one for those prices, not much chance you could get that much.

I know that in 82 and 83 there were no mint sets made, so that makes it harder two find nice Unc. coins for a set. That also makes them more expensive, as I found out by building two sets of Washington quarters. The 86 may be just because of a lower mint set mintage.

I noticed those years about 4 years back and haven't been able to pull any out of circulation in MS. Then again, I haven't been able to pull many older quarters in MS, no matter what date. I don't think there's much of a market for them, but if I find one for a buck I might take it.
