Thanks for showing pics, I always wondered if there was a difference between a normal proof coin and a masterpieces proof coin. Their seems to be a much more frosting in the masterpieces. Is there an obvious difference when in your hand, or is the scanner just making them bright?
p.s Do you need a circulated coin, because I can send one to you :)

Silver coins always look more spectacular in proof than the copper/nickle coins, there is a definite difference in the two. Thanks for the offer AC, I have a few of the circulation coins but none worthy of adding to my album yet, the best I have would be battling to make VF

I really like the frosting on the proof coins.
seems kind of weird that they minted it again in 1989 but I suppose being a commemorative proof it doesn't really matter.
