Is N-11 the only variety considered medium date?

Apparently yes. It is the only one specifically listed as a medium date, and the N-11 obv die was only used on that variety. Grellman also says that the medium date is diagnostic for the N-11.

I don't know if it's just me, but I have trouble distinguishing this one. Tall date is obvious. From what I see, the distinguishing element between the small and medium is that the small has a droopy 6.
