Hi All,
I saw this on ebay, what everyone's opinion - is it real and is it good value?
Seems odd how the sellers history does not include any coin sales.
I am always sceptical of 'finds' and ' inherited lots'!!

Kind Regards
Dave

I don't know of the seller.
Why on Earth would you want to put a coin of this value up on ebay?

...maybe to take advantage of the often irrational " ebay bidding wars"

Dave, this dump has been listed on e-bay several times and discussed before on CCF a few months back.

In answer to your question about its value, I can think of heaps of better ways to spend $45,000.

Cheers

yeah the dump and holey dollar is on my wish list too.

Until I can afford the real thing I'll just have to settle for my "Becker" copies.
