I never use ebay or any on line sources. With more than 4 coin shows a Month within about 15 miles of me, ebay can't compare. Of course when your standing right over a coin, looking right at it, even more difficult to walk away.

That's a lot of coin shows in your area. At best I've found a couple auctions within 25 miles (using auctionzip). How did you first learn about the coin shows in your general area?

I received a few more of my items, the yellow seal $1 was in nice condition, the red seal $5 was nice too (though from the photo I thought it was better)

Still waiting on the bigger two purchases (red seal $1 and the $1 eagle) these are the ones I most want to surpass expectations. Somehow these two were overtaken by those purchased after them so I hope they arrive safely.

Also since the yellow $1 was good and I liked how the seller did business I bought another couple of notes from him and he agreed to give me some discounts/throw me in something whenever I order multiple items.

I hope I lose internet soon cos the items on my "want list" are starting to get narrowed down to the more expensive items. I need to work a little harder and save a little before I splash out again.

(next on my list are large 1917 $1 and $2 notes, woodchopper and 10s bradbury/fisher)
