Well it's getting closer medicare grafton has gone cashless so how many other people will stop going to the quack do they really think when they do these things?..and they say they're not and won't get rid of cash well it looks like they're going to give it a fair go and I still haven't got a bloody mobile phone yet

bring on the comments but please try and remember a few things,
1. I like many others can't afford to play the game so I can't and won't keep up with the jones(unless you give me $)..I'm flat out being able to afford to run this stupid black box let alone my car and 2. A lot of people like me just don't get a lot of this new age techno BS, it's just way over my head and I feel like this sometimes and as for everything being abbreviated these days, it takes me days..sometimes weeks and some I never get to work out what people are saying I'm back happy trout

Hey Ausjack,
Yeah, I know Grafton can be a bit chilly at times, I grew up just up the road at Casino. And let me tell you some winter mornings it was a real struggle to get out of bed at dawn. Hard wood floors hurt.

As for the cashless thing, you don't need any gizmos. All it is is the gov putting the cash into your bank direct rather than handing you the cash.

The reason apparently is security of the offices. At least that is the "Official" line.

Me I think the Gov is more interested on having a link into you bank account. Then they can find out just where you send your money.

It's a conspiracy I tells ya.....

Cheers
Peter

Hey Peter,

Yeah I've lived in casino and lismore

spot on the money mate, it is a conspiracy and I could tell you more about it, and that it's been going on for years. Do we have any other ex gov employess that would like to tell just a little about what they know.

Can anyone tell me why your pay has to go into a bank? think about it and who helped bring it all about...laugh you might but you'll see..just wait till they get everything linked and you try and get a job and all they do is press a button and it tells them everything about you..and that's EVERYTHING to do about you that has to do with computers. All you medical history and education so they know if your tellin porkies

I pay the Dr cash and they give me back cash as I take it that that will be classed as a transaction and I think I only get 4 free a month on my pension account as I don't have $2000 or more a month going into my account..they get at the poor any way they can

yeah the "official line". In the last few years they have moved the medicare office into the doll office and that stopped a lot of people as they don't want to be seen with the likes of me So I think that blows the security thing out

It is all about big brother Why does the government and woolies and coles etc etc have to know how much you have where your spending it and on what..but if 99.9% of the general public can't see what a bloke with a chunk of brain missing can see I can't see that there's much hope for anything.. so I'll just sit back and enjoy the ride
