Unfortunately without knowing what kind of shape theyre in its impossible to say how much they could be worth. http://www.numismedia.com/fmv/fmv.shtmlYou can look them up there and get a general idea, but again it really all depends on what they would grade

@ basebal21
So if I was to sell these, would $2500.00 be a fair price for all three ?
I collect Japanese swords, so I have no need or use for these.
thanks

Unless they were cleaned, I would be concerned that these are fake. The color isn't right for 100+ y/o coins, and the gold indian is commonly faked. I would be suspicious. Closer pics may do some good. And Welcome

I took them to an local coin dealer at an antique show we had a while back, he looked them over, wanted to buy them from me, something about the guy really bugged me, he kept on pushing me to sell them to him.
As I was walking around with the wife, he actually walked up to me asking if I sold them yet, I told him I did, just to get him to leave me alone.
They have been those paper sleeves as long as I can remember.

You could try for that but unslabbed not sure what youd get. I wouldnt buy anything of that value unslabbed and I'm always suspicious of coins that are that valuable raw.
They do kind of look to good to be true or at least cleaned. That age unslabbed and too look that shiny is would be VERY rare. Might want to get them checked out

Like I said before I have had dealers look at them, that was many years ago, when I just got them, I really dont need them right now, and need the extra cash to buy an sword I want, thats the only reason why I'm thinking about selling them, or just get an cash advance on my card, but I hate doing that.

bmoore1322 I also collect swords and I know the feeling of wanting a particular sword However I have actually sold a couple of mine to help fund some of my coin purchases,Go figure The only way you will be able to get a decent price for your coins will be to send them into pcgs or some other TPG. That way they will be authenticated (if genuine) and you will be able to sell them with ease. I have found that most sword collectors/dealers will hold a sword for you if you explain your problem to them. I hope this helps you out

@ Trout
I'm looking at an signed sword from the Edo period, mint condition, with Showa mounts, it was a family blade that had WW2 combat mounts on it, the blade is very old, and I want it bad, as it does come with an SHIRASAYA mount also.

get them slabbed, as someone said the color looks off for something so old

I never cleaned them they have been in these holders the day I got them, Never took them out, as I know better then to be holding them with dirty oily fingers and such, I just left them in there.
I had them on Craigslist, someone is interested in them, he said he would buy them, as long as I offer a 100% money back guarantee, in-which I told him I would. I would not feel right if I didn't offer him that option.
Hopefully they will sell, and I can buy the sword I have been trying to get, as I would rather keep my toys.

The 1836 Half Cent and the 1873 Two Cent are proof only issues and are worth thousands of dollars each if genuine. If you could post clear close ups the coins in particular those two, some of the more knowledgeable members in these series can render an opinion on authenticity. If there is no signs of being a fake, these should be sent to a TPG like PCGS or NGC to be certified in order to maximize the sale price. The $2.5 has about $190 worth of gold at today's prices but these usually sell at a premium so I would guess it would be worth around $250ish maybe a little bit more if not a problem coin.
