I found several of these pennies tonight with a Die Crack running threw the "E" in Cent. As I went threw the rolls the crack seemed to get a little worse. Here are two scans on the die crack. Do these add any value?

Die cracks dont usually have a premium(unless it is an oddball location that attracts interest or is an indicator of a particular variety) but a die crack progression set is always a nice thing.

Thanks for the reply biokemist. I got 6 of them out of 10 rolls that show the same crack. One that seems to be the beginning of the crack has just the dot on it and then they get progessively worse. Sure wish I had gotten some more rolls with with it getting even worse. Sure it would had make a huge effect of that E and may have almost wiped it out.

Any other interesting find like PRM or RPD or others on the same coin or even DDO?

The only way I have seen typical cracks carry a premium is if you had a set of three, four, or more coins showing a progression of the crack, and even then it would only bring a few dollars. The whole hype about die cracks on proof coins is losing its steam, because these sort of minor inclusions in the production of coins are acceptable at the mint thus large numbers of die cracked coins make it into circulation and into proof sets. People are generally starting to take note of this and are becoming wise to purchasing die cracks for larger sums of money.
