I posted this on another site that apparently does not have the traffic this site does. I've been collecting for a long time. I collect coins and currency. Furthermore I metal detect and have some of my better finds attributed to that hobby.
This is a note I found when I was in HS and have often wondered about it. I've shown it to a few local dealers although they don't seem honest about it. I have seen other notes similar to it sell for thousands although I believe mine to be unique. The offset (I'm not sure if that is what it is) is on the front and back. Furthermore it is inverted for both offsets. To me it would appear to be at least 4 errors on one note. Offset from front to back (and inverted). Offset from back to front (and inverted)
Please correct me if I am wrong and is this note worth a $1 million dollars (I could only wish).
Thanks!
Todd S.

Offset errors aren't my area of expertise :/.

I'm not thinking it's a real error. I could be wrong, though.

IMO, you have a "real" error....but but but You need to get it authenticated...here is why
These errors are easy to replicate.

What you have is a rare situation in which you have BOTH the front and back wet ink transfers / offsets....

Not sure what the right word is BUT the front on the note MAY have environmental damage / issues

So my question to you is HOW was it stored all these years?

edit below
Price ...may be 50 to 150...not sure about it due to the condition of the front / obverse.

I recommend you post this to the PCGS Currency Discussion Board. Many error experts at that site.

It has been stored since day one in a plastic money sleeve. Bought it specifically for this note. Furthermore, about the environmental damage...I'm not sure I understand what you are talking about. If you are referencing the multiple spots that resemble dirt across the front of the note, that is in fact ink, green ink. Under magnification in some areas I can make out more of the design from the back of the note.

IF the currency holder is 25 years old as you say...then you probably have PVC damage to the note...

Take it out and place it in a Mylar currency sleeve....best wishes.
