They want 25$ for scrap copper. Sentimental value is not numismatic value. Looks like a Half Cent of some sort, would put it at mid 1800's. LoL

This seller specializes in love tokens. Many are really nice. This one needs recycling.

actually allot of Love Tokens are done by hand by the person giving it so seeing one where the engraver wasn't very artistic isn't uncommon

It looks like it may have looked better originally.
It may have been worn badly from being carried in a purse or pocket.
