"YOU ARE BIDDING ON 2 MINT CONDITION COMMEMORATIVE CANADIAN DOLLARS FROM
1958 80% SILVER CONTENT"

Not sure whats going on with this one at all. Nor am I sure what they will get. That's a weird one.

Might be the wrong picture, might be the seller doesn't have his act together.
I'd at least ask a question before bidding.

I would ignore the photo when bidding and go with the written description. And with the description consider the coins circulated to be safe.

Q: What are you actually selling? Seven US Franklin half dollars or two Canadian 1958 dollars? Thanks.

A: Judging by the seven coins displayed in the picture , they are definetly not Canadian dollars, there are 7 us half dollars ( Benjamin Franklin silver coins )

So much for going with the written description... Guy seems like a bit of jerk, though. Maybe he doesn't realize his description is wrong?

Barry he didnt seem to realize it and has added that after someone else asked the same question.

That said he was a jerk when replying probably should have asked why you were asking that or double checked first. The only thing worse than a jerk is someone being a jerk because of their own mistake

What a dope. He put it in the Canadian Coin category, then has a canadian coin description. Only the picture and the title match up.

He corrected it after he responded to my Question and he was very polite and apologetic.

Well in his other items he has the two Canadian commemorative dollars he was talking about:

Must have just got confused and put the wrong description there.

He corrected it, but now has the silver content wrong. He lists them as 80% silver, ha!
