Was going through my hoarded 1982/83 halves, found three no "fg"'s and this clashed die obverse. The second picture is an overlay to help with your assessments. Please let me know what your impressions/thoughts are.

Hey DylanGrace, it also looks like its rotated also! Nice clasher ! Is there anything on the reverse Those darn counting/rolling machine marks I don't know if that will detract from the clash. Check this link http://www.maddieclashes.com/Half_Dollars.htmlTowards the bottom of the listings.

Hey papatony...I did check the reverse and found very slight clashing. Should this one be submitted, do you think? Thanks to all who replied, I appreciate your efforts.

IMO I don't think if would pay for this (or any other modern) coin struck with clashed dies to reside in a TPG holder as it may cost more than what it's worth...

Nice clashed die coin. IMHO ... put it in a 2x2 and save it ... not worth the expense of TPG. David

I don't really see a question in the initial post of this thread. All I see is a request for comments...so here's my comment:
You're correct.

The only thing I can see that hurts this coin is the slot machine damage (circular scratches on front).

Pleased to have you here with us DylanGrace and hope you continue to contribute to the CCF body of knowledge.
You find is a very fun one ... a coin any of us would be proud to show off.
Looking forward to whatever you have to share with us.
