Could you help me to identify the Syd. and/ or Crawford# of these two coins I bought: On-line e-bay recently, can't find history behind them, Greek or Roman Republic? I'm new in Numismatics and starting to build up a collection, your help- if you have the time- I would appreciate. I've enclose 3-6 pics attachments: Obverse and Reverse of same of the coins - Alexander the Great and then in 2 pics Obverse woman with helmet and Reverse is an odd shape owl). Thanks Sal, a collector on training- wheels. Thank you everyone... Help-Need-Identifying-2-Roman-Republic-Or-Greek-Silver-Coins

Hello and welcome.

The pics of the first coin are way too small for us to see what it is (though it appears to be a tetradrachm of Alexander), but unfortunately, the pics of the second coin are good enough for us to tell that they are of a very crude modern replica of an Athens "owl" tetradrachm. The weird distorted shape of the eyes on the owl are very distinctive. Here's another thread with one.

I wish I had better news for you, I'm afraid.
