This one probably shows the true color the best.

Honestly, I can't see a thing, and this a series known for its weak strikes. I'll give you an E for Effort, though.

Ha, yeah the camera technique is shoddy.

Try taking it out of the 2x2.

I scanned it. Any better? I will see if I can take it out of the 2x2.

Your scans pixelate too much. Your third picture in your first post is the best of them all even with the shadow/glare. try taking more doing whatever you were doing there. You want to shoot the coin straight on and not from the side. What camera are you using?

For the first pictures when I shot it straight on, the flash caused a bright glare. I'm using a Sony N50. I tried using it on the flower symbol so that it zooms in better. Then I crop it. The third photo was straight on with a light above on and my hand over the flash.

Weezer, as Dave said, you need to take coins out of the 2x2's to get a better picture or scan.

Oh, I took the coin out of the 2x2. It was awesome to hold it (by the rim only) for just a second.

The coin actually looks better than I originally thought. I'm leaning towards EF-40 now.

Your photos out of the 2x2 are much better. I agree with EF40.

Thanks for the advice and honesty guys. In hand it looks a little dirtier, if that is the correct word.

From now on I'll use the little Nikon. I thought the bigger more expensive Sony would take better pics.

EF is about right.

Weezer, it's a circulated coin. You won't be the first to hold it in your hand. You could pocket it without hurting it.
