That beats my story, but I'm going to tell it anyway:
Yesterday, I stopped by my bank to make a deposit. I'm trying to finish up a Jefferson album and only needed two from 2004 - no big deal. I had a P mint mark with Peace Pipes and a D mint mark with Keel Boat. I carry a spare P Peace Pipes and a spare D Keel Boat to show tellers what I'm looking for (just the other mint mark). Anyway, asked if she had any of the Peace Pipe or Keel Boat varieties and she had a Keel Boat - that was it! Bummer, but when I got home I saw it was the mint mark I needed (P). So now all I need is a D mint mark Peace Pipes to complete my Jeffs. Today I was out with my son but when I got back there was a message on my answering machine. The teller found one of the nickles with "golf clubs" on the back and was going to hold it for me! She had to look up my home phone number from the account because I have had an unlisted number for over 35 years. That's a pretty good teller!
