I just picked this up at a suspiciously low price. Now I'm trying to find the catch. Non-magnetic, 25.9g. Has it been cleaned? I see some scratches on Liberty's head in the photo that are not visible to my naked eye under ambient lighting. I'd like to send it to NGC if it will come back with a grade. (This is also my first attempt at a coin photo with my two new Jansjos (at 10 and 3 o'clock) and my rather ordinary camera). Edited by coin1024 07/14/2012 01:42 am

Definitely worn, but still a great coin! The cotton bolls are worn flat, the hair above her eyes is also worn, and the cotton boll leaves are almost completely gone.

I'll go VG-08, an outside chance of 10 but not enough detail to be F IMHO. Very nice circulated example. Doesn't appear to have been cleaned.

I would say VG10. If you do send it off to NGC, let us know what grade comes back.

VG-10 and it looks like a nice original well worn coin with no major problems.
Your photo skills are great, easy to see what the coin looks like.

I would grade it at a G-6. It does not appear cleaned. I would estimate its value at around $120-130.
