Hello and welcome.
It's not actually a coin. Although the design is very similar to an Egyptian 1/2 millieme from 1929-1932, there are several differences; particularly, the coin should be made of bronze, the Arabic is slightly wrong, the date "1917" is on the wrong side and the portrait seems to be a line-drawing rather than sculpted.
I suspect your item is either a token or a piece of play money.
On the original coin, the reverse inscription says "Al-Mamlakah Al-Misriyyah", which is Arabic for "Kingdom of Egypt".

Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
