Hey guys new member here, I posted in the new members section to say hello.

I thought I would break the ice and post a pair of 2006 No P, no mint mark magnetic pennies.

I would be curious to know what the ballpark grading would be on these.

I hope you don't mind that there is two of them. (I did not want to post them separately, with the same thread title.)

The one on the left looks nicer, has a bit of blackish staining on it.

The one on the right also has blackish spots, and has a touch of possible corrosion in front of the Queens forehead.

So we will see how the pictures upload. I will make up a proper jig for photographing pictures in the meantime.

Anybody?
I thought these were pretty exciting coins.
Do I need a higher post count?

You need better photos for meaningful grading.
IMO Even if they are higher grade the discoloration greatly reduces their desirability. These appear to be $60-$80 ebay type items rather than something high grade collectors would seek.

Thank you for your time.

Still not too shabby. I will work on my pictures.

I was not thinking of selling them, although anythings possible. I will keep my eye out for more.

Those look like great hole fillers! Not everyone is looking for the best of the best, some people just want to fill the hole, personally I have not found one of these yet.

I found these two in about 4500 pennies. (A box from the bank had one, the rest I had around the house.)
I can see myself looking for more!
Maybe I will sell one and keep the other for an album. I have been keeping the odd nicer coin to make an album.
